Camille Wixon

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Virginia. I will be on the academic job market in 2026–2027.

My research is in health economics and public economics, with a focus on reproductive health. I study how prices, insurance coverage, and product design shape contraceptive choices and access. My job market paper examines how out-of-pocket costs affect sterilization decisions. In related work, I study how firms make product labeling decisions that change the effective duration of long-acting contraceptives.
